About me

I started my career in business, living and working in several different countries. Like many people, I left my home with a suitcase full of dreams, but over time, I found myself carrying more than just belongings—there were uncomfortable feelings and difficult experiences. As a human being, we all go through moments where the weight of our journey can feel heavy, and finding a place where we feel supported and understood is crucial to our growth. This is the space I now create for others: a place where you can unpack, heal, and thrive.

I have spent 30 years abroad; mostly in Hong Kong, UK, Holland, US and Australia. As an expat who has lived, worked, and raised three children abroad, I understand firsthand the unique rewards and challenges that come with expat life.

Qualifications

I have two Masters Degrees from Monash University, Australia (MOC) and Aalborg University, Denmark (MSC). I am a trauma-informed therapist, trained in the Developmental Model (DM), Gottman Couples Therapy approach, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am also a registered member of the British Association of Counselors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
